ASUS Transformer Screen Frozen!
A couple days ago my ASUS Transformer tablet screen froze on me. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to unfreeze.
I searched the web and found it might have froze due to an Android firmware update. People with other brands of tablets we’re having the same problem. People with Motorola Zooms, Acer Iconias, Samsung Galaxy Tabs, etc.
I heard some people tried to do a data wipe and reset their tablets with mixed results. I didn’t really want to lose all my data. Some people we’re able to unfreeze by powering off and on multiple times with mixed results.
The screen freezing might also have something to do with the docking station and keyboard in the update. If you have a docking station, you might try to plug the ASUS Transformer into the docking station. I’ve heard this helps also. This wasn’t an option for me as I did not have a docking station.
I tried to power off and power on the Asus Transformer multiple times and it still remained frozen.
A simple solution worked to unfreeze the screen. I let the battery run all the way down until it wouldn’t power on anymore. It took a few days to drain all the battery. After the battery was drained, I plugged the Asus Transformer to the charger and powered on the Asus Transformer. After I did this, the screen became unfrozen and worked again.
Hopefully this solves the problem and I don’t experience the screen freezing again.

Ive had the same problem if you have it plugged into the keyboard take it off and turn the power off and on again this worked for me 😀
I have a Asus see tablet can’t get on like my Facebook page only home page, when I post it stay there it’s like it’s frozen but I can go to Google and other sites
I have a google nexus 10. when that happens I press the power and volume buttons together for a few seconds for a hot reboot.
