Estrongs File Explore let’s you search the files on your phone. You can choose 3 different background themes and change the views to icon, list or detailed views. Sort files by date, size, name or type.
Access your PC’s files with the LAN function by adding your PC as a server. I couldn’t get this working. I could connect to my PC, but couldn’t list out the files. I followed the directions to connect via the Estrongs website but couldn’t get it to list the files. It’s probably something to do with either my firewall settings or the Samba configuration. I don’t doubt these functions work. Just didn’t work with me without doing more tweeking. Though you might have better luck.
The Estrongs Task Manager has to be downloaded separately. The Estrongs Task Manager allows you to Switch, Kill or Uninstall apps. No backup feature.
The LAN and FTP functions are interesting, but I couldn’t get them to work. I don’t use Estrongs for my file or apps management. I’d rather use Astro File Manager.
