5. What does your app do? Please describe the best features of your app.
Planner 5D is an interior design app that enables anyone to create floor plans and interior designs. That doesn’t require any prior knowledge or skills and therefore is meant for everyone. Users are able to choose and customize furniture, accessories and décor elements from regularly re-stored catalogs applying hundreds of textures and colors in different combinations. It works simply, by dragging and dropping items to any place on a layout. Users can build on 2D or realistic 3D HD modes and make super realistic screenshots of their designs.
6. What makes your app different from similar apps?
Planner 5D is superior to other apps as in Planner 5D users are able to make HD screenshots of their designs themselves. Also, users can build houses of several floors and cover their projects with a roof. To add, there is a feature called Magic cube that allows to build and design objects as personal solutions that no one would ever seem to come up with.
7. Who does your app target?
Planner 5D is meant for everyone with no exceptions. Though the majority use the app aiming to visualize interior design ideas, to plan a renovation or a redecoration or sees this application as a game.
8. Where did you get the idea for your app?
At particular periods in their lives both founders Alexey Sheremetyev and Sergey Nosyrev have happened to plan their home interior designs. Both of them have faced a problem that it’s difficult to visualize how a finished interior will look like, especially when it comes to measuring spaces between furniture. Therefore, one being a pro in UX/UI design and the other in web development, they’ve come up with an idea to create a tool that would allow people to visualize their interior design ideas easily. Soon after they’ve got and investment from a VC fund and founded Planner 5D.
9. How have you marketed your app?
Planner 5D doesn’t focus on marketing, but instead on following Google guidelines for Material design while developing the application. Of course some free means to spread the word about Planner 5D are used, though they’re not as important as creating a good product that people would love naturally.
