Rando
Description: Rando is an experimental photo exchange platform for people who love photography. Users send photos (‘randos’) to other users, never knowing who receives them. A user will then in return receive a random photo from another random user, with the only information available being the general location of where that photo was taken.
Rando turns the concept of photo sharing upside down and allows serendipity to rule the day. Deliberately removing the common social network elements from the application, users can’t like photos, comment on them, favourite them or share them with others.
The idea is to free users from the constraints of social media, to escape the constant desire to seek ‘likes’ from others and appreciate great photography.
