The app provides instructors with real-time, anonymous feedback from their students. Instructors create polls that the students can respond to and comment on anything related to the classroom experience. This provides the teacher with data to better improve their teaching. The results come in chart form, exportable, and analytics. The app is available in several languages.
6. What makes your app different from similar apps?
The reporting methods and the educational focus separate TeachBack from other poll-feedback apps. Also the existence of it in Spanish and Chinese.
7. Who does your app target?
The app is targeted towards any instructor at any grade level, in any type of classroom setting. It could even be used for trainers or anyone giving any form of instruction outside of the academic world.
8. Where did you get the idea for your app?
The app idea came from spending decades as a college professor and wishing there was an honest way to know how the students felt about their classes.
9. How have you marketed your app?
The app has only been marketed through reviews and word of mouth throughout academia. No paid marketing or advertising.
