Pop Pet Puzzle Adventure is a puzzle game where the player must connect 3 or more of the same pets to clear the grid. When connecting a long line of pets, the player gets various power ups to help him win the level. When his power bar is full, the player unlocks an ultra power up that clear a big chunk of the grid. As he unlocks more advanced levels, the player explores various worlds.

There are several gameplay mechanics that enrich the player experience, such as destructible objects in the grid, a variety of power ups each with a different effect and the quality of graphics with detailed world maps and backgrounds.
