Looking after our teeth is no laughing matter, well it is kind of, but your winning smile requires a lot of regular care. Visiting your dentist twice a year is only the tip of the iceberg, we should brush our lovely teeth two or three times every day. It can be easy to forget this simple routine and to be honest we could use a little help. This is even truer when we have a young family to consider. Our kids’ teeth are extremely vulnerable and they can often become decayed if we don’t keep on top of things properly. With these thoughts in mind, let’s look at some Android apps that promise to make tooth maintenance a little easier!
Colgate Tooth Fairy by VML New Zealand
This is an excellent app for those of us with younger children or even individuals that are still young at heart. The application contains 3 games that encourage our kids to build up a regular brushing routine. The games themselves are entertaining and are pretty tooth-centric as well. You just know that Colgate wouldn’t put their name to any old piece of rubbish and they chose wisely with this app! It’s absolutely free and deserves a look at the very least!
Brushy –Teeth brushing timer by Sven Eigenbrodt
We all know that we should spend at least two minutes brushing our beautiful teeth, but how many of us just give it a minute at most? Well now you have no excuse, this app is going to help us get back on the right track. It is much more than a simple 2 minute timer tool, because it will also highlight the parts of your mouth that need attention during that window. Simply follow the display on your Android smartphone and switch to the next position when the app tells you to. We love this simple but effective peace of software and really encourage you to download this totally free app right now!
How To Brush Your Teeth by Antonio Tonev
This app is a real heavyweight and offers so much advice for free, that we had to look twice! It will walk you through the tooth cleaning process in an intuitive way that is sure to improve your knowledge and practice of mouth care. There are some excellent illustrations that leave you in no doubt as to the correct way in which to maintain that radiant smile for many years. It includes a valuable timer tool for that all-important 2 minutes brushing window and you’ll soon be taking your Android smartphone on regular trips to the bathroom! The developer also invites you to join his Facebook and Twitter communities for regular updates and healthy debates about the world of tooth care. The app advises us to seek advice from our dentists as to the best toothbrush and toothpaste for our teeth. We love this app and have a feeling that your dentists will too!
3 Free Apps!
We think that all of these apps have something a little special for you and your teeth, so why not download all of them – they’re free!
